The origins of Maagu came in 2001 when the first workshop was opened to start an artistic tradition of handmade leather bags based on Guadalajara, México. From then to now the know-how of our team and artisans has grown, changed and experienced with many different ideas on how our pieces can highlight the beauty and uniqueness of our customers.

We strongly stand for an artistic view in which we keep traditional handmade procedures but at the same time look to make them as changing and unique as the world we live in. We also stand for being highly focused in details because we know that art is finding those in a beautiful way.
